CORRUPTION & CULTURE
This module invites students to deliberately examine the two major systematic problems at the core of social issues: governance and corruption. The students will learn about what they are, how they developed, and how they looked like in our society. Additionally, the students will be encouraged to brainstorm strategies used to promote good governance and combat corruption to prompt them to think of preventive measure to tackle social issues at their core.

Problem Statement
- How might we empower ordinary citizens to participate in conversations around large scale corruption scandals and feel a sense of agency?
- How might we redesign the grading system to encourage experiential learning over following instructions really well?
Challenge Briefs
- Corruption scandals in Thailand is very prevalence. Most of the time we feel powerless, what can we do to empower us to take impactful action
- Have you watched a movie ‘bad genius’? It’s a good movie. And it is also based on the true story!
- As a movie, we appreciate the effort and wit of students in their attempt to get into a good university abroad. As a true story, it is quite a wake up call on what our culture and education system drive students to do this kind of unethical behavior. It raises the question: does the current evaluation system of formal education actually work?
